Dining in Laragh
Cafes
We have numerous cafes within walking distance of Wild Haven Apartment including The Conservatory, Ann’s Coffee Shop, and Glendalough Green Cafe. Most are open daily and all are located less than fifteen minutes walk from the cottages.
Restaurants
We also have great restaurants within walking distance or a short drive from our cottages. The Wicklow Heather Restaurant, The Glendalough Hotel and Lynham’s Pub are three of our local favourites.
Local Grocery Stores
Walking Distance Grocery
A ten minute walk from our cottages is our local organic grocer and cafe, The Glendalough Green and McCoy’s Convenience Store. The footpath is paved along the road for all the way to both shops.
Driving Distance Grocery
A ten minute drive from our apartment is the village of Roundwood. There you can shop at the Roundwood Butchers shop, open 9 AM - 7 PM daily, closed on Sundays. There is also a small Centra Grocery shop and Roundwood Stores open daily but check their website for hours.
Pubs & Live Music
Lynham’s of Laragh
Our village pub is located a short walking distance (less than fifteen minutes) from the apartment. The footpath is paved along the road for the entire way making it an easy and enjoyable walk.
Lynham’s is open for lunch and dinner daily. Check their website to see the live music schedule.
Transportation & Petrol
Getting Here from Dublin
If you are driving, we suggest you use our Google Map link at the bottom of the page to get accurate directions.
If you’re taking the bus from Dublin, we are on the St. Kevin’s Bus route. That route information can be found here. The destination stop will be Laragh village, Opp. Lynham’s Hotel.
Getting Here from the Airport
If you require a transfer to/from the airport, please contact us and we can arrange it for a fee.
Taxis
The contact information for our local taxis is printed and available in the apartment guide in your apartment. If you’d like us to arrange a taxi for you, simply let us know.

Our nearest petrol station is McCoy’s, which is located 1km away from the apartment.

Banking Services
ATM
Our nearest ATM is located in McCoy’s Convenience Shop in Laragh village, just a few minutes drive from our apartment. Most establishments take credit card and can offer cash back with a purchase.
Bank
The nearest bank is located in Wicklow Town, about thirty minutes drive from the apartment.
